Welcome to Jacob Linder's Website!

Hi there! My name is Jacob Linder and I am in Brea Olinda High School. I am a freshman and am currently
in GITA, or Global IT Tech Academy. I am planning on taking GITA all four years of high school. Here we
learn about computer programming, such as C#, HTML, and Java. I have made a website with all of my projects
so far so that you can check them out!

Since joining GITA, I have learned many of the basics of computer programming. Although we have mostly
been focused on using C# in Visual Basic, we have also done some HTML (like this website). After the Mr. Salesky
has taught us about how to make simple programs and games, I now have a different outlook when seeing games
or apps. I see them as a lot of "if statements," and think about if I would be able to do that myself.
After takeing a semester of GITA, I see myself as being part of the program for all four years of high school.
Although I am unsure of what I want to do for a living, GITA has given me a basic understanding of what computer
programming is and given me that option in life.
